Town Dog is currently seeking a part-time professional dog groomer to work Fridays and Saturdays with the possibility to move to full time in the 2nd half of this year. The Town Dog Grooming Salon opened in 2017 side by side to our dog daycare and boarding business. We groom by appointment and are open 6 days a week, Monday – Saturday. Between our grooming clients and our busy daycare, our professional stylists complete on average 5 dogs per day. Our grooming salon is supported by a dedicated reception team. We pay all of our W-2 Groomers 50% commission, in addition to receiving both cash and credit card tips. After 90 days, we offer full-time stylists Blue Cross coverage, dental, sick time and 40 hours paid time off. We are located in the heart of Andover, MA with a great atmosphere and loyal, generous clientele.
We Seek:
- Motivated, positive, team-oriented, and dog loving stylists with a minimum of 2 years grooming experience.
- are proficient in bathing, clipper and scissor work;
- are able to groom to breed standard;
- have a strong work ethic with exceptional time management & customer service skills;
- Considerate and respectful of our other dog stylists.
Applicant Qualifications:
- Must love dogs!
- Ability to work cohesively with others in a team environment.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and have great hand eye coordination.
- Must be able to spend 6 hours on your feet.
- Must be able to follow our safety protocols.
